Past Events
Per celebrare gli stretti legami fra la Toscana e gli Stati Uniti, dal 1996 l’Associazione Toscana Usa organizza ogni anno i seguenti eventi:
- Independence Day (4 luglio)
- Welcome Day per gli studenti americani in Toscana (in settembre)
- consegna del Premio Toscana Usa in concomitanza con lo Welcome Day
- scambio di auguri in dicembre
- festa in occasione del Presidents’ Day in febbraio
Per queste manifestazioni l’Associazione gode del pieno sostegno delle autorità locali ed è stata ospitata dalla Regione Toscana, dalla Provincia di Firenze, dal Comune di Firenze e dal Consolato generale degli Stati Uniti.
Inoltre, ogni quattro anni, l’Associazione offre alla comunità toscana e internazionale una serie di iniziative culminanti nella festa dell’Election Night in occasione dell’elezione del presidente degli Stati Uniti.
